If
a person lives in Linesville and rides in Linesville the cost is
$1.25 for a one-way trip if they are 65 years of age or older. The discount rate for people to ride into Linesville from Espyville is $1.70 for a one-way trip. It is $2.25 to ride into Meadville for a one-way trip. If a person signs up with the Lakeland Senior Center they can ride on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to the center for only $.25 for a one-way trip. The phone number for the Lakeland Center is 814-683-4959. People can ride into Meadville from the Espyville area on Wednesday and Thursday. This is a shared-ride service so the times vary depending upon the number of riders. It is door-to-door service and all the vehicles are "Handicapped Accessible." Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities do need to apply for an Identification card. One of our newer grants is the Human Service Development fund which offers free transportation to low income passengers to ride to services provided by Human Service Agencies or to Medical Appointments (if they do not have an access card).
